Putting Civil Society in the Driver's Seat.

A women-led Swiss association in Geneva helping NGOs and donors shape and lead AI innovation for the public good.

We build shared infrastructure and governance so civil society can collaborate safely, scale faster, and preserve digital sovereignty.

Civil Society's "Commons Tragedy"

The $2 trillion civil society sector is being left behind. While AI transforms global industries, NGOs and donors remain trapped in a 'Commons Tragedy': an inability to effectively mutualize efforts, resulting in fragmented data, diminishing resources, critical gaps, and duplicative work. Without a shared foundation, individual organizations lack the resources and positioning to harness AI effectively.

The Methodology: CI4G Co-Design Lab

Innovation isn't just a product—it's a process. Our Co-Design Lab convenes civil society and donors to build shared solutions together.

Consult Surface and prioritize shared pain points across the sector.
Design Create governance, privacy, and safety rules for compliant data sharing.
Iterate Test, learn, and scale what works, faster.

The Solution: Public Data Commons

We are building a member-owned Public Data Commons: a shared data and governance layer that enables collaboration without organizations giving up control.

Governance A neutral framework for shared decision-making and accountability.
Security Institutionally acceptable rules for engagement and data safety.
Sovereignty Civil society shapes tools that reflect its values and priorities.

The Pilot: AI-Powered Fundraising Tools & Dashboard

Our initial pilot addresses immediate hurdles: access to resources and better allocation—using ring-fenced data and practical AI tools.

We are currently building partnerships and the network.

For Donors Identify local organizations, accelerate due diligence, and allocate resources more effectively.
For NGOs Identify partnerships, reduce duplication, fill gaps, draft proposals, simplify reporting, and strengthen learning.
For Community A proof of concept for broader mutualization (Finance, HR, Logistics).
